Alexis Rodzianko (Chairman) Mr. Rodzianko is a Chief Executive Director of IFC “Metropol”, a leading Russian financial and investment company. Before August 2010, Mr. Rodzianko was the Managing Director of Credit Suisse, Private Banking Russia. Prior to holding this position, he was the Country Officer and CEO for Deutsche Bank (Russia) since 2001. Over the years, he has held senior positions with Arthur Andersen (Managing Director), Manufacturers Hanover/Chemical Bank (New York), Chairman of the Board of United City Bank (Moscow), and was President of JP Morgan Moscow Representative Office. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, and earned an ÌÂÀ degree from Columbia University.
Mikhail V. Mamuta (Deputy Chairman) Mr. Mamuta is the Executive Director of the Russian Microfinance Center and the president of the National Partnership of Participants of Microfinancial Market. He worked in area of credit-financial technologies for small business and microfinancing (Since 1997). During the period of 1997 – 2000 he was working in the Administration of Voronezh as a consultant of the investment committee and deputy chief of the business development department. As the Russian expert of project ÒÀÑÈÑ FINRUS he participated in development of methodical recommendations for Federal service of financial improvement of the Russian Federation and anti-recessionary management. Since 2000 Mr. Mamuta was engaged in micro and small business financing as the General Director of the Voronezh Regional Support Fund for Small Businesses. Mr. Mamuta is author and co-author of about 20 publications, physics and economics works and another microfinancing resources. Mr. Mamuta holds an undergraduate degree from Voronezh State University in nano-electronics as well as a Masters degree in Physics, and Finance. He is fluent in English.
Andrei Emelin Mr. Emelin is the Executive Vice-President for Legal Issues with the Association of Russian Banks and a member of the Arbitration Court with the Association of Russian Banks. He is the author of over 30 research papers in Currency Regulation, Civil and Banking Law. He also has a significant experience of legal work in the judicial resolution of disputes in sphere of the civil, bank and enterprise law. Mr. Emelin takes part in work of the Committee for Credit Organizations and Financial Markets of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. In particular, he was involved in the development of the following federal laws: «On Currency Regulations and Currency Control», «On Insuring of Citizens' Deposits in Banks of the Russian Federation», «On Bankruptcy of Credit Organizations», «On Credit Histories», «On Self-Regulated Organizations», and «On Produced Financial Instruments». Mr. Emelin holds a PhD degree in Law. He is fluent in English.
Dmitry Piskulov Mr.Piskulov is the Director of Russia Partners. Dmitry Piskulov joined Russia Partners as a Vice President in July 2006, primarily covering the financial services industry. Prior to joining Russia Partners, Mr. Piskulov was an Associate Director at Fitch Ratings, where he was the lead Analyst on all insurance companies and a number of banks in Russia and the CIS. Prior to joining Fitch Ratings, Mr. Piskulov worked as an Associate Banker for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where he was responsible for the sourcing, due diligence, structuring, signing and monitoring of a number of EBRD’s financial sector investments in Russia.
Mr. Piskulov holds a B.A. and a Ph.D. in Economics from Moscow State University and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK.
Anna Kanze Anna Kanze leads Grassroots’ investment monitoring and reporting, industry research, and social performance measurement functions, in collaboration with colleagues based in India, Southeast Asia and Latin America. In this capacity, she performs due diligence on potential partners, evaluates debt and equity investment proposals, and has been active in the co-creation of regional funds. Since joining Grassroots in 2008, Anna has been instrumental in developing and executing Grassroots’ investment management processes, including the valuation of equity investments.
Anna has a BA in International Relations and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. She is also a member of Women Advancing Microfinance (WAM) and the Microfinance Club of New York (MFCNY).
